Société civile des producteurs phonographiques
 
The SCPP is a society that collects fees due to its members from sound recording and music video users and distributes these fees on its members’ behalf. It has been responsible for the collective administration and protection of record and video producers’ rights since 1985.
 
 
More than 1000 producers belong to the SCPP, including many independents and the international majors like Sony BMG, EMI, Warner, Universal.
