The SCPP (Société civile des producteurs phonogra​phiques) is a​ company that collects and distributes fees collected on behalf of music producers from users of  sound recordings and music videos.

​​More than 4,000  pr​oducers​ are currently SCPP members, which brings together the majority of independent French producers as well as international companies such as Sony Music France, Universal, and Warner.


The SCPP manages a catalogue of ​ 14 million​ recorded titles​ and​ 100 000 music videos and represents more than 80% of French producers’ rights which is the bulk of the sound recording catalogue.​ ​​
