The SCPP is a company that collects and distributes fees collected on behalf of its members from users of sound recordings and music videos. 

​The SCPP collects and distributes more than 80% of French producers’ rights​

 

The SCPP (Société civiles des producteurs phonographiques) is a company that collects and distributes fees collected on behalf of music producers from users of sound recordings and music videos. 

​   
More than 3,000  producers​ are currently SCPP members, which brings together the majority of independent French producers as well as international companies such as Sony Music France, Universal, and Warner.


The SCPP manages a catalogue of  6,831,812 recorded titles​ and​ 74,863 music videos and represents more than 80% of French producers’ rights which is the bulk of the sound recording catalogue.
